Olympia Tile Metropolitan Buckskin Unglazed Quarry Cove Base 6" x 8"

A tile job is judged at its edges. Where a cut tile would show its raw body at a corner, a step or a doorway, Metropolitan Buckskin Cove Base finishes the line in the same colour as the Metropolitan tile.

In simple terms: Metropolitan Buckskin Cove Base is a 6x8 quarry cove base trim for finishing edges, corners and transitions on floors and walls.

It is the unglazed finish in Buckskin from the Olympia Tile Metropolitan range.

It is 12 mm thick. Quarry tile is a dense, unglazed clay tile made for hard-working floors such as commercial kitchens, and the colour runs through the whole tile.

Use it for the joint where the floor meets the wall, as a tile baseboard, in the same colour as the Metropolitan field tile. Pick it over a metal edge profile when you want the edge to match the tile instead of framing it.

Trim is counted by length, not area. Each piece is 8" long, so a 10 ft run of edge takes 15 pieces, plus a spare or two for cuts. It is sold by the piece.

It is a trim piece for floors and walls, not a field tile, so do not plan it to cover an open floor or wall area.

It matches the Metropolitan Buckskin field tile in 8" x 8".

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Olympia Tile Metropolitan Buckskin Cove Base in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
