It is the matte finish in Anthracite Dark Grey from the Olympia Tile Colossal range. The actual size is 62.99" x 125.98", or 160 x 320 cm.

It is 6 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The body is coloured to match the surface, so a chip shows less than it would on a white-body tile. It is rated for medium to high commercial traffic. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself does not need sealing.

It suits feature walls, shower walls, fireplace surrounds and large open floors. Pick it over standard tile when you want the wall or floor to read as one surface.

Each slab covers 55.11 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor takes 2 slabs, and that still leaves about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the slab, so you order exactly the count you need. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 2 slabs with the 10% extra included.

No outdoor rating is listed, so keep it indoors: no porches, patios or exterior walls. A slab this size needs a flat substrate and a crew used to handling it; ours are.
