Why Nove Plus Stands Out

Waterproof, hard-wearing, and warmer underfoot than tile: that combination is why vinyl ends up in so many Toronto kitchens and finished basements.

In simple terms: MSI Surfaces Nove Plus is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.

This is a flexible glue-down vinyl. Bonded to the subfloor with full-spread adhesive, it stays put under heavy traffic and rolling loads, which is why it is a fixture in offices and busy commercial spaces. The trade-off is that it demands proper subfloor prep to look right. It has a 12 mil wear layer, enough for normal household traffic in bedrooms, living rooms, and quieter spaces. Because it is 100% waterproof rather than just water-resistant, you can put it in the rooms that rule out wood and laminate, full baths, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements. With an IIC rating around 23 and an STC around 71, it meets the sound ratings most Toronto and Mississauga condo boards require, which is often the deciding factor in a high-rise. It is rated for use over in-floor radiant heat. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. A low-sheen matte finish keeps glare and footprints down. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include Akadia, Bayhill Blonde, Bayside Buff, Fallonton, and Hatfield.

Decision line: choose Nove Plus for large open areas, commercial spaces, or anywhere a dead-flat, no-bounce floor matters, and budget for proper subfloor prep.

We install MSI Surfaces Nove Plus with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. It glues directly to the slab or subfloor, which only works over a smooth, level surface. Read how we work on the vinyl installation page, or see our projects.

Vinyl reads differently across a full floor than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Nove Plus in person at either store. Rated for radiant heat, it also pairs with the in-floor heating membranes we stock. Contact us to check current stock, or browse the full vinyl plank range. Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is MSI Surfaces Nove Plus?
MSI Surfaces Nove Plus is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank, 100% waterproof, with a 12 mil wear layer. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and installs it with our own crew.
Is Nove Plus really waterproof?
Yes. Nove Plus is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, not just water-resistant on the surface, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. Standing water will not damage the floor itself, though you should still wipe up spills so they do not sit at the edges.
How durable is Nove Plus?
Durability on vinyl comes down to the wear layer, and Nove Plus has a 12 mil layer, suited to normal household traffic. The mil rating predicts how long it keeps looking new better than the overall thickness does.
Is Nove Plus suitable for a condo?
It can be. Nove Plus carries an IIC rating around 23, which helps it meet the sound requirements most Toronto and Mississauga condo boards set. Always confirm your building's exact rating before ordering, and we can help match it.
How is Nove Plus installed?
Nove Plus is a glue-down vinyl, bonded directly to a smooth, flat, dry subfloor with full-spread adhesive. It lies flat with no hollow sound and suits large or high-traffic areas, and our crew handles the subfloor prep that makes or breaks the result.
