MSI Surfaces Nove Vinyl Plank Flooring
Waterproof, hard-wearing, and warmer underfoot than tile: that combination is why vinyl ends up in so many Toronto kitchens and finished basements.
In simple terms: MSI Surfaces Nove gives you the look of real wood in a waterproof, hard-wearing vinyl floor. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with our own team.
The build and the spec: This is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank, a flexible plank bonded straight to the subfloor. Glued down, it lies dead flat with no hollow sound, handles large open spans and commercial traffic, and lets you swap a single damaged plank without lifting the floor. It does need a smooth, flat, dry subfloor to look its best. It uses a 6 mil wear layer, suited to lighter-traffic residential rooms. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It carries an IIC rating around 23 and an STC around 71, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. It is rated for use over in-floor radiant heat. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. A low-sheen matte finish keeps glare and footprints down. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. Colours in the range include Akadia, Bayside Buff, Fallonton, Hatfield, and Hyde Haven.
Our own crew installs MSI Surfaces Nove across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. Glue-down vinyl rewards a flat, dry subfloor, so prep is where we spend the time, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.
Decision line: choose Nove for large open areas, commercial spaces, or anywhere a dead-flat, no-bounce floor matters, and budget for proper subfloor prep.
A sample chip never shows how Nove looks across a whole room. See it at our Mississauga or Barrie store, contact us about availability, and compare materials on the vinyl vs laminate guide. Rated for radiant heat, it also pairs with the in-floor heating membranes we stock.
