Woodlands Black at 6" x 40" makes a small room look bigger, mostly because there is so little grout breaking up the surface. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. Fired harder and denser than ceramic, porcelain copes with freeze and thaw as well, so a covered porch or a three season room is fair game. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. A box holds 13.24 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 9 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
