Velvet Gris at 11" x 33" is large format, so you get far fewer grout lines and a floor that reads as one surface rather than a grid. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. Porcelain is fired dense enough that water is not an issue, indoors or in a sheltered spot outside. PEI 5 is the top of the wear scale. It will take commercial traffic without showing it. Work on 10.44 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 11 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
