Midgley West Universal Oak Tile 10"x64" - Natural

Universal Oak, 10" x 64", is slab format. Handled properly it reads as stone rather than as tiling, but it is not a weekend job. A natural finish holds grip when it is wet and does not show water spotting the way a polished face does. Fired harder and denser than ceramic, porcelain copes with freeze and thaw as well, so a covered porch or a three season room is fair game. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. Work on 14.22 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 8 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. It is on display in Mississauga and Barrie if you want to see a full sheet rather than a photograph.
