Midgley West Supreme Golden Calacatta Mosaic Tile 2"x2" - Honed

The Supreme Golden Calacatta in 2" x 2" goes where a full tile cannot: shower pans, niches, the strip behind a tap. A honed surface sits between matte and polished: a little depth, none of the glare, and better underfoot than a full polish. Fired harder and denser than ceramic, porcelain copes with freeze and thaw as well, so a covered porch or a three season room is fair game. The PEI 2 rating puts it in a bathroom or a bedroom. It is not rated for a hallway or a kitchen floor. Each box covers 3.88 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 29 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Both the Mississauga and Barrie stores keep it out, so you can put it beside your cabinet door or a paint chip before you commit.
