Midgley West Sherwood Walnut Tile 10"x59" - Natural

Sherwood Walnut at 10" x 59" is slab format. Handled properly it reads as stone rather than as tiling, but it is not a weekend job. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Each box covers 11.63 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 10 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
