Segesta Caramel, 12" x 24", is the size most bathroom and kitchen floors settle on. Big enough that you are not grouting all weekend, small enough to cut cleanly around a vanity. A polished face looks deeper and brighter than a matte one. It also shows footprints and gets slippery wet, so place it accordingly. Fired denser and harder than ceramic, porcelain takes traffic without showing it. PEI 5 is the top of the wear scale. It will take commercial traffic without showing it. Work on 11.63 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 10 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage.
