Midgley West Pietra Lavica Danae Tile 24"x24" - Lappato

Pietra Lavica Danae, 24" x 24", is where most floors land. It suits a bathroom, a kitchen, an entry or a whole main floor without looking out of scale. The lappato finish is part polished, part matte, which gives you some shine without the full slip of a polish. The density is the point with porcelain: very little water gets in, which is what keeps it stable in a bathroom or a laundry. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Work on 11.63 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 10 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
