Midgley West Onice Reale Rosa Tile 24"x48" - Polished

The Onice Reale Rosa in 24" x 48" covers ground fast and leaves very little grout, which is most of the appeal. Budget for a flat substrate and a second pair of hands. The polish throws light around, which helps a dark room, but a polished face is slick once it is wet. Worth thinking twice before it goes on a shower floor or just inside a front door. Porcelain is fired dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 2 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Each box covers 15.5 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 8 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
