Onice Reale Nero at 24" x 48" covers ground fast and leaves very little grout, which is most of the appeal. Budget for a flat substrate and a second pair of hands. Polished gives you the reflective surface, and the trade is grip: wet polished tile is slippery, so keep it off a wet floor and enjoy it on a wall or a dry room. Porcelain is the hard wearing one, which is why it ends up in the rooms that get walked through. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 2 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Each box covers 15.5 sq ft. For a 100 sq ft room order 8 and you have your ten percent for cuts and a couple spare for repairs later. Both the Mississauga and Barrie stores keep it out, so you can put it beside your cabinet door or a paint chip before you commit.
