About this product
Hyper Grey, 2" x 2", comes on a mesh sheet, which is the only sensible way to tile a shower pan or wrap a curved wall. A natural finish holds grip when it is wet and does not show water spotting the way a polished face does. The low absorption is the reason porcelain ends up in wet rooms and entries. It takes water, salt and grit without complaint. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Work on 3.88 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 29 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Have a look at it in Mississauga or Barrie before you order, ideally next to whatever it is going beside.
