Gemme Colorado at 2" x 2" is small enough to follow a slope, which is why sheets like this keep turning up on shower floors and in wet rooms. A matte surface stays reasonably grippy wet and will not throw glare across the room. Porcelain is the hard wearing one. It is what we put down in a hallway, an entry or anywhere boots and grit arrive. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. Work on 4.84 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 23 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie. Tile rarely looks the same in a store as it does on a phone screen.
