Matte is the safer finish underfoot once water gets on it, and it hides the day to day better than a polish does. Because it is porcelain the body is dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. PEI 4 is rated past residential traffic, so a busy hallway, a shop floor or an office is within range. Work on 4.84 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 23 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
