About this product
The Contro Grey in 24" x 24" is where most floors land. It suits a bathroom, a kitchen, an entry or a whole main floor without looking out of scale. Satin is the middle ground: a little sheen, none of the glare, and easier to live with than a full polish. The low absorption is the reason porcelain ends up in wet rooms and entries. It takes water, salt and grit without complaint. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. A box holds 11.63 sq ft, so a 100 sq ft floor works out at 10 boxes once you add the usual ten percent for cuts and the odd broken piece. Both our Mississauga and Barrie stores have it out, and we can get you a loose piece to take home.
