The Boulder Ink in 2" x 2" comes on a mesh sheet, which is the only sensible way to tile a shower pan or wrap a curved wall. The natural surface keeps its texture, which is what you want where feet arrive wet. Porcelain is fired dense enough that water is not an issue, indoors or in a sheltered spot outside. Work on 5.81 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 19 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see.
