Alpes Ivory Natural, 2" x 2", comes on a mesh sheet, which is the only sensible way to tile a shower pan or wrap a curved wall. A natural finish holds grip when it is wet and does not show water spotting the way a polished face does. Because it is porcelain the body is dense all the way through, so a chip does not show a different colour underneath the way it can on a glazed ceramic. The colours in this line are not all rated the same: PEI runs 4 to 5 across them, so check the rating on the one you are actually buying before it goes anywhere busy. Work on 4 sq ft a box. That puts a 100 sq ft floor at 28 boxes with ten percent in hand, which is what you want for cuts and breakage. Expect a lot of grout with a sheet this small, so the grout colour will do as much to the finished look as the tile does. Come and see it in Mississauga or Barrie.
