How to use Mapei Ultraflex LFT Mortar

It supports the tile without sagging and can be built up thicker than a standard thin-set to keep big tile flat.

Large-format tile lives or dies on full mortar coverage, and a medium-bed mortar is how you get it.

See Mapei Ultraflex LFT Mortar at our Mississauga or Barrie store, or search grout and mortar near me. Our in-house team also installs tile across the GTA and Simcoe County, residential and commercial, never subcontracted.

Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Mapei Ultraflex LFT Mortar?
Ultraflex LFT is a non-sag, medium-bed mortar built for large-format and heavy tile. It supports the tile without sagging and can be built up thicker than a standard thin-set to keep big tile flat. Stocked at our Mississauga and Barrie stores, or search grout and mortar at our stores.
Where can Mapei Ultraflex LFT Mortar be used?
It depends on the format and rating of the piece you choose. Floor-rated tiles handle floors and walls; wall tiles stay on walls. We confirm the right use for each format at the store.
Do you install Mapei Ultraflex LFT Mortar?
Yes, with our own employed installation crews rather than subcontractors, for residential and commercial projects. Tile work is quoted with preparation, waterproofing where needed, and grout included, so the number you get is the whole job.
Where can I see Mapei Ultraflex LFT Mortar near me?
You can see it at both Squarefoot Flooring stores, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. A full sample under room light reads very differently from a photo, so come compare it in person before deciding.
