Quick answers about this collection before you buy.
What is Mapei Aqua Defence Reinforcing Mesh?
This reinforcing mesh embeds into Aqua Defence at seams and corners to reinforce the membrane where it is stressed most. Embedded between coats of Aqua Defence, it adds tensile strength so the membrane resists cracking at movement points. Where can Mapei Aqua Defence Reinforcing Mesh be used?
It depends on the format and rating of the piece you choose. Floor-rated tiles handle floors and walls; wall tiles stay on walls. We confirm the right use for each format at the store.
Do you install Mapei Aqua Defence Reinforcing Mesh?
Yes, with our own employed installation crews rather than subcontractors, for residential and commercial projects. Tile work is quoted with preparation, waterproofing where needed, and grout included, so the number you get is the whole job.
Where can I see Mapei Aqua Defence Reinforcing Mesh near me?
You can see it at both Squarefoot Flooring stores, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. A full sample under room light reads very differently from a photo, so come compare it in person before deciding.
