MSI Surfaces Katavia Vinyl Plank Flooring
Vinyl has quietly become the floor of choice for kitchens, basements, and busy households, and for one simple reason: water does not bother it.
In simple terms: MSI Surfaces Katavia gives you the look of real wood in a hard-wearing vinyl floor. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with our own team.
The build and the spec: This is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank, a flexible plank bonded straight to the subfloor. Glued down, it lies dead flat with no hollow sound, handles large open spans and commercial traffic, and lets you swap a single damaged plank without lifting the floor. It does need a smooth, flat, dry subfloor to look its best. It uses a 6 mil wear layer, suited to lighter-traffic residential rooms. Planks run up to 6 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and GREENGUARD certified. It is backed by a 15-year residential warranty. Colours in the range include Woodrift Gray, Reclaimed Oak, Twilight Oak, Elmwood Ash, and Bleached Elm.
We install MSI Surfaces Katavia with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. It glues directly to the slab or subfloor, which only works over a smooth, level surface. Read how we work on the vinyl installation page, or see our projects.
Decision line: choose Katavia for large open areas, commercial spaces, or anywhere a dead-flat, no-bounce floor matters, and budget for proper subfloor prep.
It is worth seeing Katavia in person before deciding. Visit either showroom, contact us to confirm stock, and see more in the vinyl flooring range.
