Satin is the middle ground: a little sheen, none of the glare, and easier to live with than a full polish. Porcelain is fired dense enough that water is not an issue, indoors or in a sheltered spot outside. There is far more grout per square foot here than with a big tile. Pick the grout colour deliberately, because it is half of what you will see. Worth seeing in person in Mississauga or Barrie, because lighting changes tile more than people expect.
