Next Floor Edgewood 467 Vinyl Plank Flooring
Waterproof, hard-wearing, and warmer underfoot than tile: that combination is why vinyl ends up in so many Toronto kitchens and finished basements.
In simple terms: Next Floor Edgewood 467 gives you the look of real wood in a hard-wearing vinyl floor. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with our own team.
Here is what matters on this one. This is a loose lay floor: no adhesive, no locking system, just a heavy grip backing that anchors each plank by friction. The appeal is simple, it goes down quickly and comes up just as easily when a plank needs replacing or you need under-floor access. It has a 20 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It carries an IIC rating around 72 and an STC around 63, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. It is backed by a Lifetime Wear residential and 20-Year Wear commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Sweet Tea Oak, Hickory Truffle, Oak Au Naturel, Pale Oak, and Stormy Oak.
Decision line: Edgewood 467 makes sense when you may need to lift and replace sections later without tearing up a glued or clicked floor.
Our own crew installs Next Floor Edgewood 467 across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. A floating vinyl floor still needs a clean, flat base, so we level and prep first, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.
We keep Edgewood 467 at both showrooms, where the texture and colour read properly. Contact us for stock, or start from our Toronto and Mississauga vinyl pages.
