Next Floor Donnington 450 Vinyl Plank Flooring

Next Floor Donnington 450 is luxury vinyl plank with a loose lay build, 100% waterproof, a 20 mil wear layer, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms, or browse online.

Most vinyl floors look fine in the box; what separates them is the wear layer, the thing that decides whether the floor still looks new in five years.

In simple terms: Next Floor Donnington 450 is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.

The build and the spec: This is a loose lay floor: no adhesive, no locking system, just a heavy grip backing that anchors each plank by friction. The appeal is simple, it goes down quickly and comes up just as easily when a plank needs replacing or you need under-floor access. It has a 20 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. Colours in the range include Silver Oak, Heritage Oak, Vanilla Hickory, Mocha Oak, and Natural Oak.

We install Next Floor Donnington 450 with our own team, not subcontractors, across the GTA, Barrie, and Simcoe County. It floats over most existing hard floors once the base is flat and dry. Read how we work on the vinyl installation page, or see our projects.

Decision line: Donnington 450 makes sense when you may need to lift and replace sections later without tearing up a glued or clicked floor.

We keep Donnington 450 at both showrooms, where the texture and colour read properly. Contact us for stock, or start from our Toronto and Mississauga vinyl pages. The is flooring waterproof guide breaks down how waterproof vinyl compares.
