Ceratec Westside Grey Matte Porcelain Mosaic 12" x 12"

A shower floor has to slope to the drain. Small pieces on a mesh sheet are what let the tile follow that slope, and the extra grout lines give your feet more grip.

In simple terms: Westside Grey is a 12x12 wood look porcelain mosaic for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Grey from the Ceratec Westside range.

Each sheet measures 11.6" x 11.8". It is 8.5 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The spec sheet lists PEI III surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading above 0.42 and water absorption below 0.5%. It is rated for light commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is made in Canada. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits shower floors, bathroom floors, backsplashes and accent strips in a shower. Pick it over a larger tile wherever the floor has to slope or the wall needs a detail.

Each sheet covers 0.95 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 43 sheets, or 47 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, and a box holds 4 sheets. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 116 sheets with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside. It is rated for light commercial traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Westside also comes in Silver and White. Grey also comes in 12" x 24". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 3/8" trim profile.
