Ceratec Stonella Earth Matte Porcelain Plank Tile 3" x 24"

A long, narrow tile pulls the eye along a room and makes a hallway or a kitchen read longer. Stonella Earth gives you that in 3" x 24".

In simple terms: Stonella Earth is a 3x24 porcelain plank tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Earth from the Ceratec Stonella range.

The actual size is 2.9" x 23.6" (75 x 600 mm). It is 8.3 mm thick. The spec sheet lists PEI III surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading of 0.75, an R10 slip rating and water absorption of 0.1%. It is rated for light commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V3, moderate. It is made in Spain. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls and covered porches and patios. Pick it over a smaller tile when you want fewer grout lines; pick smaller if the floor is out of level.

Each box holds 20 pieces and covers 9.51 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 16 boxes, or 18 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 12 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside. It is rated for light commercial traffic, so keep it out of busy commercial floors.

In this size, Stonella also comes in Atlantic, Bone, Silver Breeze, Leaf and Straw. For edges, Ceratec recommends a 3/8" trim profile.
