Ceratec Starkhex Grey Matte Porcelain Hexagon Tile 10" x 11"

A plain, solid-colour tile is the safe base for a room, since it works with any cabinet, vanity or wall colour. Starkhex Grey Hexagon is that kind of tile.

In simple terms: Starkhex Grey Hexagon is a 10x11 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in Grey from the Ceratec Starkhex range. The pattern or piece type is hexagon.

The actual size is 10.2" x 11.4" (258 x 290 mm). It is 11 mm thick. The spec sheet lists PEI IV surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading above 0.42 and water absorption below 0.5%. It is rated for commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is made in Spain. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits kitchen floors, bathroom floors, hallways, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it when you want the floor or wall to sit quietly behind the cabinets and fixtures.

Each box holds 18 pieces and covers 10.55 sq ft, so a 40 sq ft bathroom floor takes 4 boxes, or 5 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 11 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Starkhex also comes in Décor Grey. For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.
