Ceratec Exagon Anthracite Glossy Glass Mosaic 12" x 12"

Glass mosaic catches light in a way flat tile cannot, which is why it ends up on backsplashes, niches and shower feature walls.

In simple terms: Exagon Anthracite is a 12x12 glass mosaic for walls only, such as backsplashes, feature walls and shower walls.

It is the glossy finish in Anthracite from the Ceratec Exagon range.

Each sheet measures 11.75" x 11.75". It is 4 mm thick. The spec sheet lists water absorption of 0%. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in China. Glass reflects light and wipes clean, and it belongs on walls where it does not take foot traffic.

It suits kitchen backsplashes, feature walls, bathroom and shower walls and tub surrounds. Pick it as the feature, and run a plain field tile around it.

Each sheet covers 0.96 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 32 sheets, or 35 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, and a box holds 15 sheets. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 115 sheets with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for walls only, so do not put it on a floor, including a shower floor. It is listed for indoor use, so keep it off exterior walls.

In this size, Exagon also comes in Cream, Grey, Taupe and White. For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/4" trim profile.
