Ceratec Dolomite Escarpement Light Glossy Glass Mosaic 12" x 13"

Glass mosaic catches light in a way flat tile cannot, which is why it ends up on backsplashes, niches and shower feature walls.

In simple terms: Dolomite Escarpement Light is a 12x13 stone look glass mosaic for walls only, such as backsplashes, feature walls and shower walls.

It is the glossy finish in Escarpement Light from the Ceratec Dolomite range.

Each sheet measures 11.75" x 12.6". It is 11 mm thick. The spec sheet lists water absorption of 0%. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in China. Glass reflects light and wipes clean, and it belongs on walls where it does not take foot traffic.

It suits kitchen backsplashes, feature walls, bathroom and shower walls and tub surrounds. Pick it as the feature, and run a plain field tile around it.

Each sheet covers 1.03 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 30 sheets, or 33 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, and a box holds 13 sheets. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 107 sheets with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for walls only, so do not put it on a floor, including a shower floor. It is listed for indoor use, so keep it off exterior walls.

For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.
