Ceratec Barolo Onice Bianco Matte Glass Picket Mosaic 1" x 4"

Matte glass gives a backsplash or a niche the depth of glass without the shine, and it wipes clean.

In simple terms: Barolo Onice Bianco Picket is a 1x4 glass picket mosaic for walls only, such as backsplashes, feature walls and shower walls.

It is the matte finish in Onice Bianco from the Ceratec Barolo range.

Each sheet measures 11.2" x 11.8", with 1" x 4" pieces. It is 6 mm thick. The spec sheet lists water absorption below 0.5%. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in China. Matte glass has a soft, even face and wipes clean, and it belongs on walls where it does not take foot traffic.

It suits kitchen backsplashes, feature walls, bathroom and shower walls and tub surrounds. Pick it as the feature, and run a plain field tile around it.

Each sheet covers 0.92 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 33 sheets, or 36 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, and a box holds 12 sheets. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 120 sheets with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for walls only, so do not put it on a floor, including a shower floor. It is listed for indoor use, so keep it off exterior walls.

In this size, Barolo also comes in Calacatta Gold. Onice Bianco also comes in 2" x 6". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 5/16" trim profile.
