Ceratec Arch Deco Menta Matte Porcelain Mosaic 2" x 3"

A mosaic is the easiest way to give a backsplash, a niche or a shower wall some detail without changing the whole room.

In simple terms: Arch Deco Menta is a 2x3 porcelain mosaic for walls only, such as backsplashes, feature walls and shower walls.

It is the matte finish in Menta from the Ceratec Arch Deco range.

Each sheet measures 11.3" x 11.7", with 2" x 3" pieces. It is 6 mm thick. The spec sheet lists water absorption below 0.5%. Shade variation is V1, uniform. It is designed by Ceratec in Canada and made in China. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits kitchen backsplashes, feature walls, bathroom and shower walls and tub surrounds. Pick it as the feature, and run a plain field tile around it.

Each sheet covers 0.92 sq ft, so a 30 sq ft kitchen backsplash takes 33 sheets, or 36 sheets with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. It is sold by the sheet, and a box holds 20 sheets. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 120 sheets with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for walls only, so do not put it on a floor, including a shower floor. It is listed for indoor use, so keep it off exterior walls.

In this size, Arch Deco also comes in Bianco and Oceano. For edges, Ceratec recommends a 5/16" trim profile.

Our own crews install it, so the people who measure the job are the people who answer for it. See Ceratec Arch Deco Menta in person at our Mississauga showroom (700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, 905-277-2227) or our Barrie showroom (112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4, 705-726-2272).
