Ceratec Alchemy White Matte Porcelain Tile 24" x 24"

Large tile means fewer grout lines to scrub, and a room reads bigger with them. Alchemy White gives you that in 24" x 24".

In simple terms: Alchemy White is a 24x24 porcelain tile for floors and walls, indoors and out.

It is the matte finish in White from the Ceratec Alchemy range.

The actual size is 23.5" x 23.5" (597 x 597 mm). It is 9 mm thick. The edges are rectified, so it can be set with a tight grout joint. The spec sheet lists PEI V surface abrasion rating, a wet DCOF slip reading of 0.54, an R10 slip rating and water absorption of 0.1%. It is rated for heavy commercial traffic. It is frost resistant. Shade variation is V2, slight. It is made in Italy. Porcelain is fired dense, so it handles water, spills and daily foot traffic and the tile itself never needs sealing.

It suits open-plan floors, living areas, basements, shower and bathroom walls, covered porches and patios and commercial floors such as stores and offices. Pick it over a smaller tile when you want fewer grout lines; pick smaller if the floor is out of level.

Each box holds 3 pieces and covers 11.5 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft kitchen floor takes 14 boxes, or 15 boxes with about 10% extra for cuts and spares. For every 100 sq ft, plan on 10 boxes with the 10% extra included.

It is listed for outdoor use, but an outdoor floor also needs the right base and slope, so ask us before planning it outside.

In this size, Alchemy also comes in Beige, Dark and Grey. White also comes in 12" x 24". For edges, Ceratec recommends a 1/2" trim profile.
