Centura lists ReStone Icelandic in the ReStone range: a 24" x 48" porcelain tile. The surface is a brushed face with fine directional texture. Shade variation is rated V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that keeps the surface from looking printed. At 24" x 48", it covers ground with fewer grout lines than a small format, which keeps a room reading as one surface. Centura tests it at R9, the rating for dry interior floors. The body is frost resistant, which opens up porches, garages, balconies and other areas that drop below freezing. The rating covers both floors and walls, which lets a bathroom or kitchen run the same surface vertically and horizontally. Because the edges are rectified, the grout joint can close to around 2 to 3 mm and the layout reads almost seamless. The body measures 8 mm. For a colour match, Centura specifies grout 939 - Mist. Boxes hold 2 pieces and cover 15.38 sq ft, or 7.6923 sq ft a piece. It contains recycled content, which can count toward LEED material credits on a certified project.
