That core is dense and rigid, so the plank holds its shape over an uneven subfloor and ignores the temperature swings that ripple a thinner floor. Every plank clicks together as a floating floor, is 100% waterproof through its whole thickness rather than just water-resistant on the surface, and runs up to 7 inches wide and 60 inches long with micro-bevelled edges, so it reads like real wood across a room. Vizion comes in two lines, and the difference that matters is the wear layer, the part that decides how long the floor keeps looking new:

• Marvelous 7 carries a 20 mil wear layer, in colours like Acadia, Arches, Denali, Everglades and Yosemite.
• Marvelous 8 steps up to a 22 mil wear layer, in colours like Banff, Grassland, Yoho, Wapusk and Thousand Island.

Both sit in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory. On vinyl, that mil number predicts wear better than overall thickness or price does, so if your floor takes pets, kids and daily traffic, the 22 mil Marvelous 8 is the safer call, while Marvelous 7 covers everyday rooms comfortably.

Because it is fully waterproof, Vizion flooring goes in the rooms that rule out wood and laminate: kitchens, full baths, laundry rooms and finished basements below grade. Where it is not the right pick: it is a firm, cool floor underfoot, so for a bedroom you want soft and warm, carpet or a good underlay suits better, and unlike hardwood it cannot be sanded and refinished, so at the end of its life it is replaced rather than restored.
