What is GoodFellow Flooring Aspen?
GoodFellow Flooring Aspen is an SPC (stone polymer composite) luxury vinyl plank, 100% waterproof, with a 20 mil wear layer. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and installs it with our own crew.
Is Aspen really waterproof?
Yes. Aspen is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, not just water-resistant on the surface, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. Standing water will not damage the floor itself, though you should still wipe up spills so they do not sit at the edges.
How durable is Aspen?
Durability on vinyl comes down to the wear layer, and Aspen has a 20 mil layer, a heavy-residential to light-commercial thickness that handles pets, kids, and busy rooms. The mil rating predicts how long it keeps looking new better than the overall thickness does.
Is Aspen suitable for a condo?
It can be. Aspen carries an IIC rating around 70, which helps it meet the sound requirements most Toronto and Mississauga condo boards set. Always confirm your building's exact rating before ordering, and we can help match it.
