GoodFellow Flooring Aspen Vinyl Plank Flooring

GoodFellow Flooring Aspen is luxury vinyl plank with a rigid SPC core, 100% waterproof, a 20 mil wear layer, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms, or browse online.

Most vinyl floors look fine in the box; what separates them is the wear layer, the thing that decides whether the floor still looks new in five years.

In simple terms: GoodFellow Flooring Aspen is a wood-look vinyl plank that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.

Decision line: reach for Aspen where stability and waterproofing lead the list: basements, kitchens, condos, and over concrete.

The detail behind that: SPC stands for stone polymer composite, and that core is the point: it is hard, rigid, and stable, so the plank stays flat over uneven subfloors and ignores the temperature swings that move cheaper vinyl. It clicks together as a floating floor. It has a 20 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. Because it is 100% waterproof rather than just water-resistant, you can put it in the rooms that rule out wood and laminate, full baths, laundry rooms, kitchens, and basements. It carries an IIC rating around 70 and an STC around 72 plus an attached acoustic pad, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 60 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. A low-sheen matte finish keeps glare and footprints down. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. It is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. It is backed by a 30-year residential and 10-year commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Snowdrift Acorn, Mountain Peak, Summit Sunset, Diamond Trail, and Chalet Pine.

Our own crew installs GoodFellow Flooring Aspen across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. A floating vinyl floor still needs a clean, flat base, so we level and prep first, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.

A sample chip never shows how Aspen looks across a whole room. See it at our Mississauga or Barrie showroom, contact us about availability, and compare materials on the vinyl vs laminate guide. You can browse the complete GoodFellow Flooring lineup on our GoodFellow Flooring page.
