Anderson Tuftex Zion Broadloom Carpet
Broadloom carpet is the wall-to-wall classic: a wide roll stretched over a cushion for a soft, near-continuous floor. Picking the right one is about matching the pile and fiber to how the room is used.
In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Zion is roll carpet for wall-to-wall installation, the soft, quiet, warm floor for the rooms where comfort matters most. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with its own team.
Think bedrooms, family rooms, home theatres, stairs, and lower levels: anywhere you want a soft, warm, quiet floor. Carpet also absorbs sound between rooms and floors, which helps in condos and busy households. Keep it out of bathrooms, kitchens, and laundry rooms where moisture is a constant.
The detail behind that: It is a patterned carpet, where the construction builds a repeating design into the pile rather than printing it on. Patterned carpet hides soil and footprints well and brings a finished, designed look to a room. The standout here is the backing: a LifeGuard waterproof backing that stops spills from soaking through to the cushion and subfloor, so a knocked-over drink or a pet accident stays on the surface where you can clean it. If you have kids or pets, this is the feature to look for. Its 64 oz per square yard face weight is on the dense, substantial end, so it feels thick and full underfoot. Sold on 12-foot rolls, it covers most rooms with minimal seaming, which our installers plan to fall in low-traffic spots. It is USA-made. Colours in the range include Aspen, Camel, Coastal Dream, Modern Vibe, Natural Bliss, and Oyster.
This installs the traditional way: a separate carpet underpad goes down first, perimeter tack strips hold the edges, and our own installers power-stretch the carpet so it lies drum-tight, then heat-weld any seams so they vanish. Doing the stretch and the pad right is what prevents wrinkles and wear down the line. See our projects for past jobs.
Decision line: Zion suits bedrooms, living rooms, and stairs where comfort and warmth come first.
Carpet colour and texture read very differently across a full room than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Zion in person at either showroom. Contact us to check stock, browse the wider broadloom carpet range, or compare it with modular carpet tile. You can more on our Anderson Tuftex page.
