Anderson Tuftex Sneak Peek Broadloom Carpet

Anderson Tuftex Sneak Peek is a cut & loop pile broadloom carpet, polyester, with a LifeGuard waterproof backing, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms.

Broadloom carpet is the wall-to-wall classic: a wide roll stretched over a cushion for a soft, near-continuous floor. Picking the right one is about matching the pile and fiber to how the room is used.

In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Sneak Peek is roll carpet for wall-to-wall installation, the soft, quiet, warm floor for the rooms where comfort matters most. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with its own team.

Broadloom is at its best in bedrooms, living and family rooms, stairs, hallways, and finished basements, the rooms where warmth, softness, and sound control matter. It is the one floor that makes a staircase quieter and safer underfoot. The one place to avoid carpet is a wet room like a bathroom or laundry.

The detail behind that: This is a cut-and-loop construction: mixing cut and looped yarns creates a sculpted pattern that disguises dirt and traffic while giving the floor texture and depth. The yarn is PET polyester, soft underfoot and inherently stain-resistant, and commonly made from recycled material. It is easy on the budget and lovely in a bedroom, though nylon is the tougher pick for heavy traffic. The standout here is the backing: a LifeGuard waterproof backing that stops spills from soaking through to the cushion and subfloor, so a knocked-over drink or a pet accident stays on the surface where you can clean it. If you have kids or pets, this is the feature to look for. At 36 oz per square yard, it is a lighter-weight carpet suited to bedrooms and lower-traffic rooms. At 12 feet on the roll, a standard bedroom or living room seams just once or twice, kept out of the main walking paths. It is USA-made with recycled content in the yarn. Colours in the range include Almond Latte, Caffeine, Campfire Ash, Canyon Dust, Coconut Ice, and Fresh Tone.

Most broadloom installs by the stretch-in method, and the cushion underneath matters as much as the carpet. Our own crew, employees rather than subcontractors, tacks down perimeter strips, lays a quality carpet underpad, then power-stretches the carpet tight and heat-seams any joins so they disappear. A properly stretched floor over the right pad is what keeps carpet looking good and feeling soft for years. Browse our projects to see our work.

Decision line: Sneak Peek is the soft, value-minded choice, best in bedrooms and lower-traffic rooms where comfort and stain resistance lead.

See Sneak Peek in person before deciding, since pile and colour shift across a room and under different light. It is at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms; contact us about availability, and if it is for a lower level, our best flooring for a basement guide is worth a read.
