Anderson Tuftex Pose Broadloom Carpet

Anderson Tuftex Pose is a cut & loop pile broadloom carpet, nylon, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms.

Soft underfoot, warm in winter, and quiet in a busy house, broadloom carpet earns its place in bedrooms and lower levels, as long as you match the construction to the traffic.

In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Pose is roll carpet for wall-to-wall installation, the soft, quiet, warm floor for the rooms where comfort matters most. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with its own team.

The style and the build: It is a cut-and-loop carpet, which combines cut yarns and loops to sculpt a pattern into the surface. That high-low texture hides soil and footprints and adds visual interest without a printed look, a versatile middle ground between plush and loop. The fiber is nylon, the most resilient carpet fiber there is: it springs back from foot traffic instead of matting down, takes cleaning well, and holds up on stairs and in busy rooms better than any other fiber. A Softbac backing is more flexible and quieter than a traditional stiff backing, which makes it easier to fit cleanly around a room and less prone to wrinkling over time. At 36 oz per square yard, it is a lighter-weight carpet suited to bedrooms and lower-traffic rooms. The 12-foot roll width means fewer seams across a room, and we place the ones you do need where they show least. It is USA-made. Colours in the range include Almond Milk, Gentle Gray, Half Moon, Inner Balance, Morning Light, and Oak Ridge.

Good fits are bedrooms, living rooms, basements, home offices, and especially stairs, where carpet adds grip and hushes footsteps. It is warm and sound-absorbing, the opposite of a hard floor. The exception is wet rooms, where a waterproof hard surface is the better call.

Decision line: Pose is built for real use, the carpet to choose for stairs, family rooms, and high-traffic areas that still need to feel soft.

This installs the traditional way: a separate carpet underpad goes down first, perimeter tack strips hold the edges, and our own installers power-stretch the carpet so it lies drum-tight, then heat-weld any seams so they vanish. Doing the stretch and the pad right is what prevents wrinkles and wear down the line. See our projects for past jobs.

Carpet colour and texture read very differently across a full room than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Pose in person at either showroom.
