Why Pawparazzi I Stands Out

For bedrooms, stairs, and family rooms, nothing beats wall-to-wall carpet for warmth and quiet, and the choice really comes down to two things: the pile style and the fiber.

In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Pawparazzi I is traditional wall-to-wall carpet, installed over an underpad for comfort and sound control. It is a soft, warm choice for bedrooms, stairs, and living spaces, and we install it in-house.

Good fits are bedrooms, living rooms, basements, home offices, and especially stairs, where carpet adds grip and hushes footsteps. It is warm and sound-absorbing, the opposite of a hard floor. The exception is wet rooms, where a waterproof hard surface is the better call.

The detail behind that: It is a cut-and-loop carpet, which combines cut yarns and loops to sculpt a pattern into the surface. That high-low texture hides soil and footprints and adds visual interest without a printed look, a versatile middle ground between plush and loop. It is built on nylon, prized for resilience: nylon recovers its shape under traffic and wears longer than softer fibers, which is why it is the go-to for stairs, hallways, and high-use family rooms. Solution-dyeing locks colour into the fiber for strong fade and stain resistance. A Softbac backing is more flexible and quieter than a traditional stiff backing, which makes it easier to fit cleanly around a room and less prone to wrinkling over time. At a dense 26.5 to 58 oz per square yard of face weight, there is a lot of yarn underfoot, which reads as a plusher, more substantial carpet. Sold on 12-foot rolls, it covers most rooms with minimal seaming, which our installers plan to fall in low-traffic spots. It is USA-made. Colours in the range include Hazelnut, Monterey, Antiquity, Cork, Downpour, and Nimbus.

Most broadloom installs by the stretch-in method, and the cushion underneath matters as much as the carpet. Our own crew, employees rather than subcontractors, tacks down perimeter strips, lays a quality carpet underpad, then power-stretches the carpet tight and heat-seams any joins so they disappear. A properly stretched floor over the right pad is what keeps carpet looking good and feeling soft for years. Browse our projects to see our work.

Decision line: Pawparazzi I is built for real use, the carpet to choose for stairs, family rooms, and high-traffic areas that still need to feel soft.

See Pawparazzi I in person before deciding, since pile and colour shift across a room and under different light. It is at our Mississauga and Barrie stores; contact us about availability, and if it is for a lower level, our best flooring for a basement guide is worth a read. The full Anderson Tuftex lineup is worth a look as well.

Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Anderson Tuftex Pawparazzi I?
Anderson Tuftex Pawparazzi I is broadloom carpet, the wall-to-wall kind on a 12-foot roll, in a cut-and-loop style built on nylon. It is stretched in over a separate underpad. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and installs it with our own crew.
Where is Pawparazzi I best used?
Pawparazzi I suits bedrooms, living and family rooms, stairs, hallways, and finished basements, where warmth, softness, and sound control matter. Its nylon fiber handles stairs and high-traffic areas well. Carpet should not go in wet rooms like bathrooms or laundry rooms.
How is Pawparazzi I installed?
Pawparazzi I is installed by the stretch-in method over a separate cushion. Our crew tacks perimeter strips, lays the underpad, power-stretches the carpet so it stays taut, and heat-seams any joins flat. The quality of the underpad and the stretch is what keeps carpet looking and feeling good over time.
Is Pawparazzi I good with pets and kids?
Pawparazzi I uses resilient nylon that takes cleaning well, a practical choice for active households. For homes with pets, a cut pile is generally safer than a loop, which claws can snag. Ask us to match the right style to your household.
Where can I see Pawparazzi I near me?
You can see Anderson Tuftex Pawparazzi I at both Squarefoot Flooring showrooms, in Mississauga at 700 Dundas St E, Unit 3-4, and in Barrie at 112 Saunders Rd, Units 1-4. Carpet reads differently across a full floor, so we recommend seeing a sample first.
