Anderson Tuftex Pawparazzi I Anderson Tuftex Broadloom Carpet
Broadloom carpet is the wall-to-wall classic: a wide roll stretched over a cushion for a soft, near-continuous floor. Picking the right one is about matching the pile and fiber to how the room is used.
In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Pawparazzi I Anderson Tuftex is traditional wall-to-wall carpet, installed over an underpad for comfort and sound control. It is a soft, warm choice for bedrooms, stairs, and living spaces, and we install it in-house.
Here is what matters with this one. It is a textured cut pile, built from twisted yarns that refuse to show every footprint and track mark. That forgiving surface is why it is the default choice for everyday rooms rather than for-show spaces. The yarn is nylon, the workhorse of carpet fiber. It resists crushing, bounces back after furniture and feet, and cleans up well, so it keeps its look in the rooms that get used hardest. Because it is solution-dyed, the colour runs all the way through the strand and shrugs off fading. A stable backing keeps the carpet flat and holds its shape through installation and use. At a dense 58 oz per square yard of face weight, there is a lot of yarn underfoot, which reads as a plusher, more substantial carpet. The 12-foot roll width means fewer seams across a room, and we place the ones you do need where they show least. It is made in the USA. Colours in the range include Barely Beige, Capri Coast, Dry Sage, Golden Straw, Gray Mirage, and Misty Lake.
Good fits are bedrooms, living rooms, basements, home offices, and especially stairs, where carpet adds grip and hushes footsteps. It is warm and sound-absorbing, the opposite of a hard floor. The exception is wet rooms, where a waterproof hard surface is the better call.
Most broadloom installs by the stretch-in method, and the cushion underneath matters as much as the carpet. Our own crew, employees rather than subcontractors, tacks down perimeter strips, lays a quality carpet underpad, then power-stretches the carpet tight and heat-seams any joins so they disappear. A properly stretched floor over the right pad is what keeps carpet looking good and feeling soft for years. Browse our projects to see our work.
Decision line: Pawparazzi I Anderson Tuftex is built for real use, the carpet to choose for stairs, family rooms, and high-traffic areas that still need to feel soft.
