Anderson Tuftex Kit Broadloom Carpet

Anderson Tuftex Kit is a cut & loop pile broadloom carpet, polyester, with a LifeGuard waterproof backing, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms.

Soft underfoot, warm in winter, and quiet in a busy house, broadloom carpet earns its place in bedrooms and lower levels, as long as you match the construction to the traffic.

In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Kit is roll carpet for wall-to-wall installation, the soft, quiet, warm floor for the rooms where comfort matters most. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with its own team.

Here is what matters with this one. It is a cut-and-loop, blending cut tufts with loops to build a subtle relief pattern. The varied surface hides everyday soil and footprints and reads as texture rather than a printed motif, sitting nicely between a flat plush and a hard loop. It uses PET polyester, valued for a soft hand and built-in stain resistance, frequently with recycled fiber. It is a comfortable, value-minded choice best kept to steadier-traffic rooms rather than the busiest paths in the house. It is built on a LifeGuard waterproof backing, a moisture barrier that keeps spills and pet accidents from reaching the pad and subfloor underneath, which makes carpet far more forgiving in a real household. At 55 oz per square yard, the face weight sits in the practical residential range, balancing comfort and cost. The 12-foot roll width means fewer seams across a room, and we place the ones you do need where they show least. Made in the USA, it also uses recycled fiber. Colours in the range include Blonde, Camelback, Connected, Grounded, Mindful, and Nomadic.

Good fits are bedrooms, living rooms, basements, home offices, and especially stairs, where carpet adds grip and hushes footsteps. It is warm and sound-absorbing, the opposite of a hard floor. The exception is wet rooms, where a waterproof hard surface is the better call.

Broadloom is stretched in over a separate underpad, not glued, and the install is where it is won or lost. Our in-house team sets the tack strips, lays the carpet underpad, power-stretches the carpet so it stays taut, and heat-seams the seams flat. We handle stairs and transitions too. See our projects for examples.

Decision line: Kit is the soft, value-minded choice, best in bedrooms and lower-traffic rooms where comfort and stain resistance lead.

Carpet colour and texture read very differently across a full room than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Kit in person at either showroom. Contact us to check stock, browse the wider broadloom carpet range, or compare it with modular carpet tile. You can more on our Anderson Tuftex page.
