Anderson Tuftex Beauty Broadloom Carpet
Soft underfoot, warm in winter, and quiet in a busy house, broadloom carpet earns its place in bedrooms and lower levels, as long as you match the construction to the traffic.
In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Beauty is traditional wall-to-wall carpet, installed over an underpad for comfort and sound control. It is a soft, warm choice for bedrooms, stairs, and living spaces, and we install it in-house.
The style and the build: It is a textured cut pile, the most popular style for a reason: the yarns are twisted so the surface scatters light and hides footprints, vacuum marks, and everyday traffic. It is the easy, low-fuss choice for the rooms a family actually lives in. It is built on nylon, prized for resilience: nylon recovers its shape under traffic and wears longer than softer fibers, which is why it is the go-to for stairs, hallways, and high-use family rooms. A Softbac backing is more flexible and quieter than a traditional stiff backing, which makes it easier to fit cleanly around a room and less prone to wrinkling over time. Its 80 oz per square yard face weight is on the dense, substantial end, so it feels thick and full underfoot. At 12 feet on the roll, a standard bedroom or living room seams just once or twice, kept out of the main walking paths. It is USA-made. Colours in the range include Aloe Wash, Angel Falls, Angora, Apricot Ice, Atmosphere, and Autumn Glaze.
Good fits are bedrooms, living rooms, basements, home offices, and especially stairs, where carpet adds grip and hushes footsteps. It is warm and sound-absorbing, the opposite of a hard floor. The exception is wet rooms, where a waterproof hard surface is the better call.
Decision line: Beauty is built for real use, the carpet to choose for stairs, family rooms, and high-traffic areas that still need to feel soft.
This installs the traditional way: a separate carpet underpad goes down first, perimeter tack strips hold the edges, and our own installers power-stretch the carpet so it lies drum-tight, then heat-weld any seams so they vanish. Doing the stretch and the pad right is what prevents wrinkles and wear down the line. See our projects for past jobs.
Carpet colour and texture read very differently across a full room than in a small sample, so it is worth seeing Beauty in person at either showroom. Contact us to check stock, browse the wider broadloom carpet range, or compare it with modular carpet tile. You can more on our Anderson Tuftex page.
