In simple terms: Anderson Tuftex Chit Chat is roll carpet for wall-to-wall installation, the soft, quiet, warm floor for the rooms where comfort matters most. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with its own team.

Here is what matters with this one. It is a cut-and-loop, blending cut tufts with loops to build a subtle relief pattern. The varied surface hides everyday soil and footprints and reads as texture rather than a printed motif, sitting nicely between a flat plush and a hard loop. It uses PET polyester, valued for a soft hand and built-in stain resistance, frequently with recycled fiber. It is a comfortable, value-minded choice best kept to steadier-traffic rooms rather than the busiest paths in the house. It is built on a LifeGuard waterproof backing, a moisture barrier that keeps spills and pet accidents from reaching the pad and subfloor underneath, which makes carpet far more forgiving in a real household. At 36 oz per square yard, it is a lighter-weight carpet suited to bedrooms and lower-traffic rooms. The 12-foot roll width means fewer seams across a room, and we place the ones you do need where they show least. Made in the USA, it also uses recycled fiber. Colours in the range include Almond Latte, Caffeine, Campfire Ash, Canyon Dust, Coconut Ice, and Fresh Tone.

Good fits are bedrooms, living rooms, basements, home offices, and especially stairs, where carpet adds grip and hushes footsteps. It is warm and sound-absorbing, the opposite of a hard floor. The exception is wet rooms, where a waterproof hard surface is the better call.

Broadloom is stretched in over a separate underpad, not glued, and the install is where it is won or lost.
