Plata Onyx Crystallo is a 3" x 12" matte bullnose in the Plata range. Visually it offers a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Shade variation is graded V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. is a bullnose it finishes an exposed tile edge, capping a wainscot, a niche or the top of a shower surround without leaving a raw cut on show. On paper that means a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance and Mohs hardness 7. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is glazed porcelain. Made in India.
