Anatolia Plata Carrara Abisso Matte Bullnose Porcelain 3" x 12"

Plata Carrara Abisso is a 3" x 12" matte bullnose from Anatolia Tile. The face gives you a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Anatolia grades variation at V2, a slight shift in tone between pieces that stops the installation looking printed. This is a finishing piece: a bullnose closes off the exposed edge where a tiled field meets drywall, a niche return or a step. On paper that means a DCOF of 0.50, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 4 abrasion resistance and Mohs hardness 7. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body is glazed porcelain. Made in India.
