Nexus Mica is a 12" x 24" matte porcelain tile from Anatolia Tile. Visually it offers a matte face that absorbs light rather than bouncing it. Expect variation of V1, so pieces run close to uniform and the finished surface reads as one plane. In a home it suits kitchens, entry halls and main-floor living areas. On commercial jobs it turns up in retail floors, restaurant and cafe dining rooms and hotel lobbies. The published figures are a DCOF of 0.42, at or above the 0.42 threshold ANSI sets for level interior floors expected to be walked on wet, Class 5 abrasion resistance, a slip rating of R10 and Mohs hardness 7. The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so it sets with a joint of roughly 2 to 3 mm on a flat substrate. The body measures 9 mm. Boxes hold 8 pieces and cover 15.50 sq ft. Made in Turkey.
