Why Skyline Stands Out

Most vinyl floors look fine in the box; what separates them is the wear layer, the thing that decides whether the floor still looks new in five years.

In simple terms: Beaulieu Skyline is a wood-look vinyl plank that handles water, pets, and busy rooms without complaint. We carry it and install it in-house.

The build and the spec: This is a glue-down (dryback) vinyl, meaning each plank is adhered directly to the subfloor rather than floated. That makes it rock-solid underfoot with no movement or hollow sound, ideal for big open areas and commercial rooms, and a single plank can be replaced without disturbing the rest. A flat, dry subfloor is essential. It has a 22 mil wear layer, the sweet spot for busy homes and light commercial rooms, well above the builder-grade 6 to 12 mil you find in big-box vinyl. On vinyl, that mil number is the best single predictor of how long the floor keeps looking new, more than thickness or price. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It carries an IIC rating around 62 and an STC around 68, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. Planks run up to 12 inches wide and 24 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. Micro-bevelled edges define each plank for a more authentic look. On the health side, it is FloorScore certified for indoor air quality and phthalate-free. It is backed by a Lifetime residential and 15-year commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Dubai, Chicago, New York, Turin, and Bangkok.

Installation is in-house and never subcontracted, across the Toronto and Mississauga area up to Barrie and Simcoe County. We check the subfloor, prep it, and set the floor, then handle the trim. Browse our projects or the vinyl installation page.

Decision line: choose Skyline for large open areas, commercial spaces, or anywhere a dead-flat, no-bounce floor matters, and budget for proper subfloor prep.

It is worth seeing Skyline in person before deciding. Visit either store, contact us to confirm stock, and see more in the vinyl flooring range.

Still Have Questions?

Quick answers about this collection before you buy.

What is Beaulieu Skyline?
Beaulieu Skyline is a glue-down luxury vinyl plank, 100% waterproof, with a 22 mil wear layer. Squarefoot Flooring carries it and installs it with our own crew.
Is Skyline really waterproof?
Yes. Skyline is 100% waterproof through the whole plank, not just water-resistant on the surface, so it suits kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and basements. Standing water will not damage the floor itself, though you should still wipe up spills so they do not sit at the edges.
How durable is Skyline?
Durability on vinyl comes down to the wear layer, and Skyline has a 22 mil layer, a heavy-residential to light-commercial thickness that handles pets, kids, and busy rooms. The mil rating predicts how long it keeps looking new better than the overall thickness does.
Is Skyline suitable for a condo?
It can be. Skyline carries an IIC rating around 62, which helps it meet the sound requirements most Toronto and Mississauga condo boards set. Always confirm your building's exact rating before ordering, and we can help match it.
How is Skyline installed?
Skyline is a glue-down vinyl, bonded directly to a smooth, flat, dry subfloor with full-spread adhesive. It lies flat with no hollow sound and suits large or high-traffic areas, and our crew handles the subfloor prep that makes or breaks the result.
