In simple terms: COREtec Floors Originals VV457 gives you the look of real wood in a waterproof, hard-wearing vinyl floor. Squarefoot Flooring stocks it and installs it with our own team.

The build and the spec: WPC means a wood-polymer composite core. It keeps the stability of rigid vinyl but adds a bit of cushion, so it is warmer and quieter underfoot than a stone core, which people notice most in kitchens and family rooms. It carries a 30 mil wear layer, a commercial-grade thickness that shrugs off heavy traffic, pets, and chairs. With vinyl, the mil rating tells you more about longevity than the overall thickness does. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. An attached acoustic underlayment cuts down sound transfer and adds a little underfoot comfort, and it saves a separate pad on install. Planks run up to 9 inches wide and 72 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. Painted micro-bevelled edges frame each plank and hide the seams. It is backed by an USF Lifetime Resilient residential and USF 10-year Medium commercial warranty. Colours in the range include Cloud Pine, Coretta Oak, Cyril Oak, Ezra Oak, and Genova Oak.
