Home's Pro Flooring Venice Vinyl Plank Flooring

Home's Pro Flooring Venice is luxury vinyl plank with a rigid SPC core, 100% waterproof, a 20 mil wear layer, carried and installed by Squarefoot Flooring. See it at our Mississauga and Barrie showrooms, or browse online.

Good vinyl is not about the picture on the plank, it is about the wear layer on top and the core underneath.

In simple terms: Home's Pro Flooring Venice is luxury vinyl plank, a wood-look floor that is 100% waterproof and built to take real-life traffic. It is SPC, Squarefoot Flooring carries it and our own crew installs it.

Decision line: reach for Venice where stability and waterproofing lead the list: basements, kitchens, condos, and over concrete.

The detail behind that: This is an SPC floor, stone polymer composite, which means a dense rigid core that stays dead flat and dimensionally stable. It will not expand, contract, or telegraph small subfloor flaws the way flexible vinyl can, and it floats into place over most existing surfaces. The 20 mil wear layer puts it in heavy-residential, light-commercial territory, which is where vinyl earns its keep in a family home. On vinyl, that mil number is the best single predictor of how long the floor keeps looking new, more than thickness or price. It is 100% waterproof top to bottom, not merely water-resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and entries are all fair game. It carries an IIC rating around 72 and an STC around 73 plus an attached acoustic pad, so it clears the sound-transfer rules most GTA condo boards set, a common sticking point in high-rises. Planks run up to 7 inches wide and 48 inches long, a wide-and-long format that reads like real wood. Painted micro-bevelled edges frame each plank and hide the seams. It is also FloorScore certified for indoor air quality. Colours in the range include Cody, Alaska, Malta, Hawaii, and Dover.

Our own crew installs Home's Pro Flooring Venice across the Toronto and Mississauga area, Barrie, and Simcoe County, never subcontracted. A floating vinyl floor still needs a clean, flat base, so we level and prep first, then finish the trim and transitions. See our vinyl installation page.

A sample chip never shows how Venice looks across a whole room. See it at our Mississauga or Barrie showroom, contact us about availability, and compare materials on the vinyl vs laminate guide.
